Energy supply systems for drilling equipment – lightweight and robust

Heavy loads, high forces, and adverse environmental conditions: We develop robust and durable plastic energy chains and accessories to guide hydraulic lines and power and signal cables on onshore and offshore drilling rigs such as drilling vessels and drilling platforms.
The diverse areas of application – from guiding the top drive to the cantilever to pipe handling – require long vertical travels on the drilling rig or cable weights of over 200kg/m on the drill skid. Installed in exposed areas, they must also withstand wind and weather and a corrosive environment on a daily basis.
In addition to completely pre-assembled energy chains, our own engineering service – from planning to final acceptance – also ensures fast installation and commissioning and a high level of planning reliability for the oil and gas industry.

Success stories

e-loop in the Akita top drive

Consistency even during a snowstorm

Plants in the field of oil production often have to deal with severe weather conditions. For a Canadian oil drilling company, our e-loop energy chain solution ensures that the top drive is always safely and reliably supplied with energy and signals, even during severe storms.
E4.1 in Bauer deep drilling system

Vibration-proof cable guidance

Bauer Maschinen's deep drilling system drills holes to a depth of 6,000 metres automatically and is a "walking unit" that can even change position.. The handling system that feeds the drill pipes is supplied with control signals and hydraulic and electrical energy via our E4.1 energy chains.
Offshore applications
