Brushless DC motors, so-called EC / BLDC motors, have no carbon brushes and operate in principle like three-phase synchronous motors. This is achieved by an electrical circuit (Hall), which controls the coils one after the other. As a result, the EC motor achieves a long service life and is maintenance-free. In general, these motors can be used for dynamic and higher speeds at constant torque. The EC / BLDC motors are used, among other things, in packaging and inspection technology, for example for sensor and camera movements - also in food, outdoor and splash water areas.
