Selective laser sintering(SLS) material: the material I3-PL , specifically developed for laser sintering, proved to have an abrasion resistance 3 to 30 times higher than conventional materials for laser sintering during tribological tests in the igus® test laboratory. This means the degree of design freedom for wear-resistant parts has been increased yet again. It is used for all sliding applications, as well as rollers, racks, spur gears and bevel gears.
