Pneumatic rotary union with lifting suction cup

The pneumatic rotary union is an additional axis that offers an extra degree of freedom of movement. It can be used for delta robots or Cartesian robots, for example.

With the pneumatic rotary union, you get an extra rotary axis at the tool center point, including suction pads with Z-lift.

Robot control system for an easy introduction to automation

The pneumatic rotary union is compatible with igus Robot Control. The igus Robot Control enables a simple and intuitive system for robot control and programming. The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This entails less project planning effort and faster commissioning.

If you want to use your own (robot) control system, that's no problem.

Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, you need one motor control system per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system which controls the coordination of the movement. The motor control systems are not part of the product and can be ordered from us as an option. igus does not offer a master control system at the moment.
