Our new product: Module Connect

The customised interface: the Module Connect is the concept of a new type of connector for connecting electrical cables, fibre optic cables and pneumatic hoses. As a cable connector, our modular plug-in connector is characterised by a space-saving, flat housing and is used wherever several or a large number of cables need to be connected in the smallest possible space.

The robot control system, igus Robot Control, is the first choice to flexibly and efficiently solve automation tasks in the lower and medium performance range. Communication between the control system and the software of the same name takes place via Ethernet or Wi-Fi. In addition, the control system offers several interfaces via different communication protocols through integrated functions. The igus Robot Control enables simple and intuitive robot control and programming, making it easy to get started with automation.

Our new product: E6.ESD energy chain series

The new E6.ESD energy chain series is not only made of electrically dissipative ESD material, but is also cleanroom-compatible, low vibration and quiet. Thanks to the ESD material, static charges in the manufacturing processes of electronic components or assemblies are reliably prevented. The E6 series is available with inner heights of 29, 40 and 52mm and can be configured online.

"A conductive filament for 3D printers would help me with prototype housings. With its electromagnetic compatibility behaviour, a housing made of such a filament would come very close to a housing made of aluminium or sheet metal. However, the conductive connection must then be low-resistance, ideally less than 10 ohms."

Our new product: ESD-compatible 3D printing materials

Our electrostatically dissipative laser sintering powders iglidur i8-ESD and iglidur i9-ESD are ideally suited for applications where ESD specifications are essential. Use them to prevent damage to electrical components and to manufacture antistatic components for machines that require ATEX certification. The materials are characterised by high rigidity, which means that the parts deform less under the same load. Like all other 3D printing materials from igus, the ESD powders contain solid lubricants that ensure low friction and eliminate the need for additional lubrication.

You will also receive information about the product and can be redirected directly to the online shop if you wish.

Simply take a photo of the existing application and igusGO will show you which igus products will help you in designing your application lubrication-free. The app also shows where there is more potential to improve your machine's technology and even reduce costs at the same time. You can find out more about applications that have already been optimised on comparable machines and go directly to the shop, where you can view further information and order or enquire directly.
