In line with the guiding principle of the igus company from 1964 "Give me your most difficult injection-moulding part and we'll find a solution", the idea of developing our own promotional gift was born. In the early 1970s, Founder Günter Blase and his brother, Design Professor Karl Oskar Blase, first realised the iguscube. Unfortunately, the first attempts were unsuccessful as it was not possible to produce the thick-walled design object via injection moulding for a long time. In recent years, further development efforts followed. The square organiser, which, depending on how it is turned, can be used as a tray or pen holder, is now offered as a promotional gift, design object and quality feature of the injection-moulding products.

The packaging emphasises the pen holder's three dimensions. When several boxes are stacked on top of each other, the effect is that of a three-dimensional pattern that seems to be alive and constantly changing, depending on the angle from which it is viewed.
The cube has been entered for the iF Design Award and will also be available in shops offering office supplies, furniture and design objects in future.

The cube is available in dark grey, orange and light grey. Are you interested in the iguscube? Please do not hesitate to contact us.
