The product range of the igus® twisterchain® includes the guide trough, the use of which offers a number of advantages:
- Guidance of the chain
- Reduction of chain wear
- Optimisation of smooth running
- Rotation angle up to 400°
The modular design of the guide trough makes it possible to combine a variety of chain, circle and bend radii with the same trough parts. If the chain radius is changed, the trough can be easily adapted. A new production is not necessary. You can select the appropriate guide trough system from the table below. The specified part no. includes the complete trough system.

Supporting the upper run of the twisterchain® (from 180° rotation angle)
The guide trough is attached to the fixed end of the twisterchain® according to the hole pattern shown. The following screw connections are permitted:
- plain hole: 4 - Ø 6.6 - 7 mm
- Fastening with screws only: 4 - M6 screws
Designations:
A = Bottom edge moving end
B = Bottom edge fixed end
C = Upper run support
D = Required clearance for twisterchain®
E = rotary axis
F = fixed end
