Assembly instructions for the energy chain RX e-tube

Disassembly/assembly of a lid

Tip: Removing the lid from the moving end

Assembly step A RX pipe

Turn twist-clip fastener 180° anti-clockwise on both sides.

Assembly step B RX pipe

Loosen a total of two more subsequent lids to remove the lid you want to replace.

Assembly step C RX pipe

Replace the lid as shown in the photo; if necessary, lift the following lid.

Assembly step D RX pipe

Turn the twist-clip fastener 180° clockwise.

Replacing a chain link

Disassembly/separation

Assembling RX pipe 1a

Open the lid of the chain link you want to replace in addition to the three lids in front and the two behind.

Then remove the lid you want to replace as well as the lid before and the lid behind it, so that two chain links are open.

Place the screwdriver between the two chain links (as shown in the detailed photo) ...

... and lift one side open slightly by turning the screwdriver and twist the tube apart.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 ...

... and remove the chain link.

Installation/assembly

Tip: Installing the lid from the fixed end

Attach the pipe on one side and do the same with the other side ...

... by pressing the chain link together.

Assembling RX pipe 3b

Press the pin of the chain link into the hole with a little pressure, bending the tube slightly into the radius if necessary until the pin engages.

Position lid, align and tighten ...

... turn the twist-clip fastener 180° clockwise.

Please note: The twist-clip fastener should not be turned more than 180° when opening as this will make it more difficult to install the lid. Adjust the lid with light pressure during installation and correct the position of the twist-clip fastener if necessary.
