An international roof tile manufacturer has so far equipped its conveyor belt with metal pedestal bearings at several locations worldwide. During the roof tile manufacturing process, the conveyor belt is subjected to extreme dirt loads, which is why it was breaking down on a weekly basis. He was looking for an alternative that would save him cost-intensive downtimes in his two-shift operation.

Dirt adhered to the lubricated metal bearings and caused them to fail shortly afterwards.
