The offset between the upper run and lower run means that plastic rollers do not roll over each other, but slide past each other. Rollers slide over the entire travel on a smooth, even surface.
Comb-like autoglide crossbars
autoglide crossbars provide the necessary offset between the upper and lower run so that the rollers slide past each other.
Wear pad
Lateral contact inevitably occurs in the guide trough. The P4 system's long service life, even at high speeds, is guaranteed thanks to the wear pads.
Equal pitch
Equal pitch of the chain links with and without ensures smoother unrolling of the energy chain.
Undercut design
An "interlocking" of the chain links ensures a very high torsional strength of the energy chain and prevents the chain link from expanding under push/pull forces.
Special contour of the chain link
The contour ensures better unrolling of the energy chain and easier and safer installation.
Large pin/bore connection
More than two stop-dogs cannot or can hardly be synchronised. Due to the rectangular geometry, the force distribution is much better than with a round stop-dog (formula surface pressure, p=F/A). The complete P4 family has the double rectangular stop-dog.
Noise brake
Simple principle but highly effective. A wedge-shaped contour in the energy chain stop-dog dampens the impact noise of the energy chain.
Wear pad
For long service life on long travels. Every energy chain on a long travel manages at least 10,000km - often much more. This is a "promise" that we have been fulfilling for years.
