Bin-picking with robolink D and a camera vision system
This pilot system from Volkswagen AG shows application with grip from a box using the robolink® D and camera vision system. This is about the handling of the forced ventilation frame for the Passat /Arteon, respectively separating and feeding the components for further processing.

    For this automated scanning process, a robolink DP articulated arm robot is used together with a 3D scanner from Photoneo. The workpiece is rotated on a rotary axis for scanning. This allows the robot to take a 360° picture with the integrated scanner.
